Good morning Stacy, hey that'll be good getting one of the wound vacs removed soon, another small victory sweetheart, and the other one the following week, that would be a nice Easter gift, so how is Easter celebrated over the pond
, sadly it's mainly just an excuse to buy/exchange chocolate eggs here, commercialism
.
Well Stacy, I've never been to IKEA, as being a carpenter, flat pack furniture doesn't do it for me
. Well lovely, I'm with family at an Island called Skye in Scotland, and their gesturing, rather rudely, it's time to get off the boat and explore
, I hope you have something nice planned for today my friend.

You are doing brilliantly Stacy, as we have come to expect. In your own words 'slow and steady wins the race' and you will get there and get to enjoy your remodeled home and all the things your niece and nephew relatives are getting up to.

Hi
A slow day here, wet and windy as the clock is going forward an hour. Not much day light. Feeling achy all over so just having a duvet day. I developed inflammatory arthritis when I had my operation in 2021. I was in remission, hope this operation not getting the immune system started again on attacking my joints. Why can’t the immune system not attack cancer instead?!
Stacy: you are doing really well and hopefully the wound vac will be gone soon. It feels good as the nurse removing something from your body. I found time in hospital goes really weird. Sometimes you think it has been for ever and only 20minutes passed. Sometimes a whole day just pass by and I can’t remember much of it at all. Are you able to have any food? Do you think they would allow Macy to visit you eventually? Maybe your parents can smuggle her in. One day at a time, you will get there. I certainly feel pretty low whilst in hospital and probably about 10 weeks afterwards too. I get Craig to buy me some nice flowers every week and that definitely helped. Maybe you can plan on what you want to grow in your garden this year and set your dad to the task?
Lee: Hope you enjoyed the Ikea visit and it is not too busy. I found the one way system quite infuriating so don’t go too often. Craig likes it though.
Angie- Your granddaughter looks so adorable and really happy that you are able to attend the concert with your family.
Patrick Have you started on your allotment yet?
Eddie have a lovely time in Scotland, hope the weather is not too severe for you.
Made Caribbean jerk chicken with coconut rice for dinner tonight yum. Hope you all have a relaxing evening .
Love Stella x
you too Stella, I love anything with coconut. No, not really got going yet but was there earlier to admire the emerging tulips, nearly got stung by a wasp. What are those beasts doing so early?

look at Poppy in all her finery! She is such a little darling. Alfie has spent the weekend being centre of attention at my brothers house, where we had lots of visitors making a fuss of him. He loved every second, and is still snoring his head off at 9am this morning from all the excitement.
Im envious of your trip to the Isle of Skye! What is the weather like there at the moment? I’m sure you will have a great time!
I will look up Nathan Carter on YouTube later. I’m glad you and your granddaughter had such a good time. Sorry I missed the photos, but you are right, the rules around posting photos can be found in the guidelines. You can find the guidelines at the top of the page, by clicking on the more button.
It is so good to hear about your good recovery. I find standing on one leg hard, but have never tried with my eyes closed! Maybe I should try it.
It sounds like you are receiving the best care where you are, so I am glad that you do not have to move onto another facility, and that the next place will be home. I cannot pretend to understand what you are going through, it must be so hard for you and your family. I hope your recovery goes well and you can return home soon to your lovely Macy.
I wish everyone a good week. Mr Simmo is home this week, so we are having a long Easter break with days out with Alfie and lots of pub food. The weather doesn’t look too bad for the week either.
I know the site can be difficult for some to navigate, so I will add a link for the community guidelines in case anyone would like to familiarise themselves.
Chelle if you go on the Nathan Carter website you see his posting of the band photo from their Sunday gig in Aberdeenand there is a wee clip of my granddaughter sing in with him too. Well she is only 5 and I love her to pieces, but I don’t think she will make a living from singing she just absolutely loves him. Xxx
