  • Good Morning,

Stacy I do hope you are all fine during the horrendous weather you are experiencing. Stay warm and safe. x

Stella, I also hope you are getting home on Monday. Winston will be so happy to have you back Grinning. I will be thinking of you x

Patrick have you had bad weather too at your little corner of the World? Hope you and Mrs Patrick are keeping well.

Tvman how are you getting on with the work at your home? You have had horrible weather conditions too and I hope that you didn’t have any flooding or damage to your home.

Chelle, how long until you get your scan results? Hope you stayed clear of any damage due to the weather. It just doesn’t want to stop at present. Poor Lilly is so disgusted, she is curled up most Thumbsup the day napping. Mind you not a bad way to be at present Thumbsup. x

Lee 2, my daughter is saying the same about her dog and muddy paws. She has a brown cocker spaniel lady. Not to mention the 2 kittens they got a few weeks ago. Her beloved cat passed sway a while back. She left it for a few month but had to get another one (turned out she got 2). She is living in the country so mouse control is a must. Hopefully the furry sisters will be enthusiastic about it when Spring arrives. x

Everyone stay warm and safe, have a good week and good luck for any appointments, results etc. big hug from

    Angie and Lilly xx

  • Hi Angie and Lilly

Thank you for asking after me. I am doing well and ready to go home soon.
My mum had bought Winston back to my house today. Can’t wait to cuddle him.
This is W supervise Craig working.

  • Hi Angie, snow is forecast for later tonight but it will probably be more annoying than anything else. I need to get to the hospital early Tuesday morning so fingers crossed. Our winter weather does not compare with what you get in Scotland and certainly not with what Stacy is presumably experiencing right now.

Stella, are you still set to go home tomorrow? You probably don't have such a majestic view from your bedroom window but home is home and you can start tucking into the food you missed.

    Patrick xx

  • Hi Angie and Lilly,

Thanks for your concern, it's very welcome.

We've not had any flooding or wind damage although it has been quite cold and draughty in the house because of the building work, especially since the raised patio that's going to be attached to the house has had to be stopped as there's so much rain. Part of the patio area will just be boarded up until the rain stops and building can recommence.

It'll be worth it when it's finished!

    Love life and family.
  • Hi everyone.  Glad Lilly is curled up nice and warm in the house Angie, I think the weather is going to turn cold again.  Hope you don't get too much snow Patrick.  Tvman your alterations will definitely be worth it.  Hope you get to get home with your Winston today Stella.  How is your puppy doing Chelle?  I am going to walk my four dogs in the woods again today (more muddy feet) ha ha.

  • It has been another dull day here today. A touch of Rain/sleet has started just now, so both Lilly and I are taking the cosy tucked up option this afternoon. Enjoy your muddy walk with your canine friends

I do hope that Stella is getting home today. Winston and of course Craig will be missing here as much as she misses them. Home is just the best place to recuperate.

Thinking of Stacy too and hope the monster snow has not affected her family badly.

Love to everyone on this thread

  • We ended up with 12 inches of snow here, but some areas around us received 2-3 additional inches. I've never seen this much snow in one storm before. It's going to be below zero for the lows throughout most of this week, and once you factor in the wind chills, they're saying the feels like temp will be -20 to -30 at night. Needless to say I'm not going anywhere until my appointment on Friday. I'm doing the exact same as you, just staying tucked in on the couch in front of the warm fire.

I hope Stella was able to go home today!

  • Hi

Alfie is very cheeky. He loves going out no matter what the weather, in fact the more mud the better. We celebrated his 1st birthday on Sunday.

  • Wow Stacy, I can’t remember the last time we had that much snow here. It must look very beautiful, but the temperature will not be much fun! Hope it has cleared by Friday for your appointment.

  • Ah Chelle Alfie is gorgeous I can't believe he is one already.  My 2 chihuahuas hate going out in the rain, they are funny little dogs.  Gosh Stacy that is a lot of snow, like Chelle says hope it is okay for your appointment on Friday.  Hope you are home Stella.  Keep warm and snuggly Angie and Lilly.  How is little Violet doing Tvman? Take care everyone on this wet and windy day.
