Stacey I have never seen that much snow before hope it will not affect your appointment on Friday. Is it a virtual one?

Stella, how lovely that you got home today. I am so happy for you and Craig and of course Winston. It is very, very windy here and sleeting on and off. Glad I don’t have to be outside. Stay warm and cosy tucked up on the sofa. Best place to be to recuperate. Big hug to you 3 from

Stella2020 I’m so glad you are home. Time to rest and recuperate now, I hope Winston is being gentle with you xx
Hi Stella, welcome home, great that you're out, getting sorted and familiarising yourself with the new products. I presume you have another stoma now to manage?
So good to be back in your own bed with all the home comforts and familiar surroundings.
Take care Stella

Hi Stella,
So glad you're home and settling in good, it's definitely a tough process to go through for not only us, but our family as well. Our one guest room has become my official medical supply room, boxes of bags and other stuff is just inside the door. Unfortunately my appointment in Columbus is in person, but the surgeon who will be traveling here to assist with my amputation will be there virtually, so we'll know my surgery date after this appointment. My primary surgeon who also did my hemipelvectomy back when I was in high school has never done this kind of amputation before, so they've went above and beyond making sure the best team possible will be here for my surgery. I feel like time is moving so fast, it seems like only yesterday I was still trying to make up my mind about everything, and now here we are... Other than it being pretty cold on Friday, most of the parking lots and roads will be clear and salted, so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad for us.

Hi Stella, how nice to be settling back in at home again after that long spell in hospital. I can imagine it will take some getting used to with the new equipment and no nurses to fuss over you but I'm sure Craig and your mother will pool efforts to help you, not so sure about Winston though lol. And if you do have difficulties at the beginning, just come on here and rant away, we'll listen.
Patrick xx
