Good evening
how is everyone doing? Any more Snowfalls? I had really good news. The consultant has called me that the pathology result is out they have removed all the tumour with a clean margin. this is the third time I had big operations and only time I have a clean margin so hopefully it will work this time.
Currently receive red blood cell Transfusion so probably will more energetic tomorrow.
Great news Stella that everything has been worthwhile. Now you can just focus on getting strong again.

That is fantastic news Stella2020
Now time to focus on recovery, any news on when you may get home ? X
That's wonderful news Stella, huge congrats on having clear margins. Hopefully you'll be able to go home soon, but until then I hope you keep enjoying that amazing view you have from your room.

Brilliant news Stella. I hope you are feeling a bit better today after your transfusion. Do you know when you will be able to go home yet? Bet Winston will be glad when his Mum is home.

Stella, I am so delighted for you. Such great news for yourself and your loved ones. You will be home in no time and can recuperate in comfort and enjoy Winston’s little moments of being Winston . No more snow so far, thank goodness for that, but there might be more coming towards the end of next week. Log burner is going and after a cup of coffee Lilly and I shall have a nap. Started my next cycle of chemo tablets yesterday and I get rather tired for a few days. Thankfully I can do as I please since it is just my furry companion and I. Have a cosy afternoon/evening. Sending you our love and a big hug

Afternoon Stacy,
how are you doing today? Gosh that sounds like Joey . It’s a cool day here today and as I just wrote to Stella it’s time for a nap. There is something very cosy and comforting about a wood burner I always think. Hope you have something nice to look forward to this weekend. Sending love and a big warm hug across the Ocean to you.

Sorry I'm a little late to congratulate you on your fantastic good news, I bet that's given you such a wonderful feeling and a high. I've everything crossed that this operation will work this time. So what's the latest on the planned other stoma, will this good news mean that you may not need one?
My rare blood cancer main problem is that my bone marrow is not producing anywhere near enough red blood cells and that's why I need one of my injections every week in life and has been so for the last 10 years. So why not give me red blood cells transfusions? Well, I have another rare disease called haemochromatosis, also colloquially called The Celtic Curse and iron overload. Therefore red blood cells transfusions also give me extra iron in my system and I need that like I need a whole in the head!! Having so much iron puts me at risk of many serious problems due to iron build up in major organs. I've developed Non Alcohol Fatty Liver Disease and Cirrhosis so I had to stop taking alcohol overnight some 3 years ago.
Really, I'm so happy for you that the operation went excellently.

Thank you so much everyone! I would not be here and coping with the big operation without you all.
I am feeling a lot more energetic since the blood transfusions. A bit bored as still bedridden. Hopefully will able to go home in a week or so.
I had a bit of panic attack before I have got the pathology results. I was really concerned after all this surgery, I end up in the same point as started. Still got a mountain to climb but at least I may get somewhere different for a while.
Love to you all
xx
