Moin Patrick, I was going to try and see if I can get down the drive today. The main road has been cleared but the drive up to the parked cars if very icy. Thankfully Laura hot out of her lane and picked me up to get some shopping done in Elgin. Just as well since I was running a bit close to the wire with some products. All stocked up and some treats for Lilly. Do have a pleasant weekend and stay warm. Hug to Mrs Patrick and your good self, herzliche Gruesse

Hi Patrick,
I've just been thinking about Stella, and wondering how she is doing as I continue on with my own recovery. How have you been? Our weather is so crazy here, it was close to being hoodie weather and rain yesterday, and this morning we had a dusting of snow, and back to typical winter temps.

Good morning everyone. Well the snow has gone and it feels a lot warmer today. I have been wondering about Stella, I am sure we will hear something soon. Glad you are on the road to recovery Stacy. What are your typical winter temperatures Stacy? I have never been to America before, my husband has always wanted to go. Hope your new kitchen and alterations are going smoothly Tvman, how is Mrs Tvman getting on with her new hip? I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all,
Hope you are all doing ok and did not have any damage or injuries during the bad weather spell. The snow has started to lift here since yesterday. A big hooray to that. Good to hear you are improving Stacy. I had planned a trip to America or Canada with my daughter, when I retired, for a stay at a Horse Ranch. Has been my ambition for a long, long time. Sadly illness put a stop to that and so far it has not been possible. I am a huge fan of your Paint and Quarter Horse breeds.
Like yourself and others my thoughts are with Stella and Craig too.
As Patrick said the thread has been very quiet lately. Please do post so we can keep it going as it is. Have a good week everyone and good luck with appointments and treatment. Love and a hug from

Hi Lee,
I'm glad your snow has melted, our winters are typically in the teens and 20's with more than enough snow, but we've had a lot of mid to high 60 degree days mixed in this year. A lot of Ohioans joke that we can experience all of the seasons in one week due to our crazy weather. Frigid single and negative temps are in the forecast, so I tend to stay inside more. Navigating icy and snowy parking lots on crutches can be treacherous.

Hi Angie,
My uncle has always had horses, so my sisters and I loved riding with my cousin whenever we could growing up. They still have horses, but they also board them which has been a good business venture for her. We have the American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio every year in October that lasts for a month. We would go there to watch and have fun at the show every year with them, but I haven't gone in such a long time. Granville also has a polo club that plays right in town, and their field isn't too far from our development, so it's always fun to watch them play.
