Didn't really get as far as I hoped yesterday. Yes they are going ahead with the chemo and they are going to do all the treatment at Boston instead of sharing with Lincoln. Now I have to wait for Boston to contact me with an appointment and date to start. I ask how long and all they would say was not long xx But I think I feel easier as it will be in 3 week cycles only going into hospital for the day on the first day of each treatment. I thought it would be everyday so bonus there. Looking at six months to start with then if it stops it growing I may be able to go onto tablets for the rest of time, but if it starts to grow again it will be back onto the chemo. One line in the paperwork saying the benefit is to stop the cancer from growing any bigger. About 10 pages of side effects xx

Thank you Patrick. Yes on reflection I am very pleased that I am now in the care of the Oncology team and they were lovely. I had built myself up thinking I would come back with a date and I think it threw me a bit. But I am very thankful that after talking with them my stomach has settled and I have eaten well today for the first time since my diagnosis six weeks ago xx I have a list of the chemo so I will look it up when I am on my own as our daughter came up from Wales to be with us and is leaving again on Thursday xx
