  • I use mine a lot, so much so I need a bigger one now so I can do more than one thing at a time x

  • I am going to try the pork chops in the air fryer with that spice next time Chelle.  I just hate cleaning the thing afterwards.  Angie what about the pepper and meatball recipe, it sounds good?  We had Chinese takeaway last night as we spent the day in Bewdley and got home a bit late.  We rarely have takeaway last time was in December.

  • I made Mexican taco soup for the first time. It is very delicious but too spicy Hot pepper️ for me. So will half the chilli powder next time.
It has beef mince, lots of beans , sweetcorn , quit filling.

  • Looks delicious Stella, did you have it on its own or with something else?  I have a big appetite Grin.  I made beef stroganoff and brown rice last night.  Trying the pork chops in the air fryer tonight Chelle, do you put oil on, or just the spice?

  • Hi Lee, I have olive oil in a spray bottle, and spray a little bit over the chop before sprinkling the spice. It just helps to make it stick. Hope you enjoy it x

  • I've changed to pork chops rather than pork loin steaks. Mrs Tvman doesn't like paying for bone. Pork loin steaks aren't easy to keep the meat tender as they're not much thicker than some thick bacon slices. Got some pork chops yesterday in Sainsbury's. I've still got some potatoes and carrots in my plot so if Mrs Tvman gets out today then that's what we're having tonight

  • Yes me too,  the pork loins are so thin I always overcook them.  Had the pork chops like Chelle recommended last night, they were delicious.  I didn't clean the air fryer as going to make roast gammon and marmite roast potatoes in there on the weekend.

  • Hiya Lee, the recipe for the pepper and meatball is pretty easy. Had to be since I am the one cooking it JoyJoy. You need

15 mixed peppers, 3 slices of streaky bacon, 4 to 5 tubes of tomato purée (depending on taste, I use 5), 850 grams of lean mince, one onion.

Add a drop of oil to a pot and heat, add the cut streaky bacon and onion and let it simmer for a few minutes, add the striped sliced peppers into to the pot and cover the content with warm water. Make sure the peppers are all covered. Bring back to boil and then turn down to a medium heat and let it simmer for approximately 30 minutes. Now add the tomato purée into the water and give it a good stir. Cover the pot half over with the lid. Stir from time to time. After approximately one hour check if the peppers are getting soft. Salt and pepper your mince and form meatballs. Once the peppers are soft place the meatballs in the pot and let it slowly simmer for approximately 20 minutes.  Cut one meatball in half and check it has cooked through. Thicken the sauce up to your taste. Serve with rice ( my son likes it with both rice and chips together). Hope you will like it as much as my family does.
