The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Good Afternoon one and all.
Long day, for me yester was at the hospital for 8.30 yesteryears, was for the heart scan , it was different took a while, all done with.
Went for lunch with my son, then had to get to other hospital
Never been there before opened 22nd September 2025 got home 4.45 , slept like a log last night.
Hope you are all having a pleasant day.
The rain has hit us hard here already this morning. Cruise ships schedules have changed this weekend due to the expected storm, with the P&O Iona coming home a day early, but everyone has to stay on board until Sunday. I wouldn’t mind that myself though, Iona is a wonderful ship to be stuck on board, with all the restaurants, bars and entertainment.
Alfie is still expecting his morning walk, he isn’t the least bit bothered by the rain, so Mr Simo has taken him out, whilst I am enjoying a cup of tea in my warm bed.
Hi
sorry to hear that as long as every one is ok.
So far not to bad here.

My dogs hate getting wet especially the chihuahuas, in fact will pee in the lounge if it is raining . Georgie my Yorkie got his teeth cleaned on Tuesday so has to go to vet just for a check today. He has to have six teeth out at the end of the month. I hope everyone is safe from the storm (no sign of it here). Have a good weekend.

Good day
It is a very windy here and I should have know better than try to go to London on the train. Half way there, then the train stopped due to overhead line failure. There is no chance of making my appointment to the hairdresser and lunch. So after 2 hours of travel and standing about, I am back home again. Winston is quite pleased with me coming back early though.
Hope folks in Northern Ireland and Scotland are doing OK.
Have a cosy and relaxing weekend everyone xx
Hi Stella
It hasn't been too bad here in my part of Scotland...only a few trees down!
Hope everyone has stayed warm and safe indoors.
xxxx Kate
