Hi Moi, It is great to see you post again. Yes there are a lot of us “still here” after a bad prognosis! I hope anyone new to the Forum takes heart and doesn’t give up hope. There are many of us here well passed our sell by date!!
Love Annette x
Hi Moi, happy to see you post again too. Hope when you get your results back that they're clear and the same for the foreseeable.
I had to take a break because Mrs Tvman was stage 3 rectal cancer and her treatment was harsh to say the least. She's had her stoma reversed but unfortunately her bowel hasn't settled down yet and some days she's pretty ill, maybe 4 days a week.
I'm still having 3 treatments a week, every week, and these days my haemoglobin and my platelets are very low. I'm still trying to keep positive and continue to work in the garden but my back is very painful and that lowers my mood. Seeing your name, Pet's and Annette's to name just a few definitely raises my spirits.
Take care Moi
Tvman xx
I hope Mrs. Tvmans bowel starts to behave, she'll feel alot better when it does , the bowel is a funny old thing, certain things I eat can start mine off. Your a trouper Tvman hang in there. Is there any long instruments to use so you don't have to bend so much? A silly question cos you've already thought of that. Thinking of you both XXX
MOI
Thank you Moi, unless you work with raised beds that you can slip below in a wheelchair it's unavoidable to garden without bending over. I cut the front grass today which definitely hurt!
In my veg plot I have raised beds with soil/compost/growing medium about 2ft deep so I don't need to bend just as much. Problem is that as soon as I stand up, the pain begins.
Glad I've got people like you on my side and who care.

Hi
I think maybe Mrs Tvman may suffer from LARS syndrome. It is quite common due to radiotherapy she received prior to her operation. Is she in contact with the stoma nurse? They are very experienced and can off some valuable advice. There also face groups for this too. Hope her condition will improve over time.
Sorry to hear about your back, you are such a trooper!
