Hi everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for September. If you would like to catch up on August's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Hope everything will be ok on Friday Mich56
Unfortunately, made this delicious Thai green curry prawn noodles , but tummy does not agree with it. No more for me, it was very tasty though.
The cat just wrapped himself up and went to sleep. He can be so cute
It is natural to worry but it might not be bad news. Try to keep yourself busy in the main time. Best wishes for Friday. X
Hi Ellie, At this moment Eddie & Sheila are on a Cruise that left from Bergen yesterday. Last weekend him and some of the family went to the Lake District and Sunday night he came to Glasgow and on Monday at 12.15 he met Kate and I for lunch, we had a lovely catch up, he then left about 17.20 to drive back to Keswick before heading home. Yes he is getting to be a bit of a Globetrotter because he no sooner gets back from Norway when he is off to Oban to take another Cruise round the Scottish Islands! A couple of others were meant to come for lunch but unfortunately didn’t feel too well so couldn’t make it!
I hope everyone going on holiday has a lovely time! We spent 5 days phoning round trying to get Travel Ins, then the day after we got it with AllClear, we were told it would be better not to fly. We were meant to go to Salou for 2 weeks from this Saturday but my (liver) bloods aren’t good and Vince’s angina isn’t responding to meds, so now he has to go for an Angiogram and we have both been told the last thing we should do is fly because that is where infections are picked up!
We will possibly go away nearer to home for a few days over our Wedding Anniversary (54yrs) on 2/10/25. It’s not Where you go but Who you go with!!
Love Annette x
Hi anndanv I’m sorry to hear you will miss your trip to Salou! How disappointing especially after sorting the insurance which I know can be a pain. I hope you get to spend your anniversary somewhere special x
