Whatever we can plan, do and enjoy, it gets us away from our day-to-day routine. Whether near or far, let's share our experiences, snapshots etc. How did we manage? Insurance? Help at home and abroad...
Stella2020 have a lovely time in bath. When I went a few years ago, there was an evening tour of the town that I did, but it was a comedy tour, it was really good, worth looking to see if it is still going (it was before Covid that I went ) x
Patrick have a wonderful time!! Safe travels x
Thank you my friend, have a safe journey and a fabulous time in glorious weather, we've had an email from captain pugwash, due to deteriorating weather the planned itinerary may be amended,"rain stopped play," in other words; lol, but still have half a mini cruise to enjoy.
Eddie xx
Patrick have an amazing time in Thailand. Stella enjoy bath and make the most of the spa. Mich hope you are enjoying your holiday. Eddie enjoy your mini cruise. Where abouts in Scotland are you going to cruise. Does Sheila have family in Australia Eddie? Must be lovely to spend our winter in the sunshine.
Lee 2 x
Thank you Lee2, we'll be sailing around Mull, but there's some bad weather forecast for the end of the week, which will change things. and Sheila has a sister in Australia, who lives in Kurnell, the other side of Botany Bay from Sydney, so emigrates for four months every winter, and I get some peace and quiet lol "joke,"
love Eddie and Sheila xx
Hi Eddie, oh dear, I've just seen the weather forecast and it's not good for Saturday, not good at all. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the weather forecast shows. Nobody will be sailing anywhere if it is.
I'm coming to the conclusion that you're jinxed as regarding holidays and short breaks.
Tvman x
Hi Tvman, captain pugwash, told us Friday was the windy day, though you are 200km away, you could be right about being jinxed, but hey, you've got to try while you can, we've been told we'll moor up on the leeward side of Mull, and sit it out, probably Tobermory or if you've got little ones Ballymoray.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
