Good morning everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for August. If you would like to catch up on July's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for: Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Good morning. Glad you have some time to relax Ellie. Good luck with your eye appointment next week, fingers crossed that they can sort it for you. I went down to get coffee this morning, came back to this.
Excuse the socks on the radiator.

Good morning Stella and welcome back home. I am still around, just took a few days off to regroup. Your holiday looked amazing. Winston must have missed you very much. Hope he will be too happy to have you back to be in the huffs. Lilly is send her love to him. My second youngest grandson and my granddaughter both started school yesterday. They both were very excited and had a great first day. Cammy enjoyed the school bus very much, after watching his two brothers going on since he was born, he could not wait to join them. Hope your treatment is kind to you. That goes for everyone of course. Wishing you all a grand day, love

Hi
Lovely to hear from you Angie. It must be so lovely to see your grandchildren starting school. It is still summer holiday in England.
we have got Winston back home today. He has been crying and in a huff. Probably will pee overall the place later on. He sends his love to Lily and is quite relieved that he doesn’t have to deal with Hanhan anymore.

Can’t say I was very brave. When I was in the hotel at J’burgh. I seriously did not want to go back. The room is on 23rd floor and thoughts have definitely crossed my mind.
Once I was on the plane I was more settled to my fate and even slept through the night.
Back to the grind now and hopefully for the best.

Sorry folks!
Had a very sad day today. My husband took his 17yr old dog to the vets this morning, as she wasn't so good. He came back without her, very upset. So it has been a very quiet reflective day for both of us, and a very confusing time for his other dog.
Life can be hard at times....
Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!

Oh Kate, my condolences to your husband and you. It's such an emotional time as a pet becomes an integral part of the family. Hope you both can draw on deep strength to get through this seemingly impossible time. My thoughts are with you both and tomorrow WILL be a better day.

Hi Leelaloo
It hasn't been the best year for us really. We lost my dog Candy back in March, and I'm still missing her. We do still have Ailsa though, who is 9 now, and healthy.
On a positive note, we are both doing well health-wise at the moment! Mike had a heart attack in January, and he's now fully recovered. So we do have some 'blessings' too!
Thanks all for your lovely messages

Dear Kate and Hubby, I am feeling for you for your loss and heartache over your beloved furry companion. You have the happy memories of 17years of loyal and unconditional love to remember him by once the acute pain has passed. All my love to you both
