Good morning all
Just setting up a new chat thread for July. If you would like to catch up on June's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Hi Jacquie JSB4, welcome to the site, love to have met you elsewhere though. You're welcome to join in at any time, the members here are so wonderfully helpful and friendly.
I'm in Northern Ireland and the last couple of days have been around 18 degrees, no heatwave here. I do like the heat but not for too long. I see you potter around your garden so if you want to potter around our Gardens and Gardening thread then you're very welcome.
What breed of dogs do you have? I have a Soft coated Irish wheaten terrier, Conan. He's 13½ years old and has slowed down quite a lot lately and he's really looking his age. He's an old man now. He has had Addison's disease since he was a little pup and it's been a long expensive life, steroids etc at least every 8 weeks.
Speak more soon Jacquie
Tvman x
Hi Tvman
Thank you for your reply
i have seen the gardening thread I will get join in the chat thank you.
I have 2 dogs a beagle who is 12 & a Parsons Terrier(long leg Jack Russell) who will be 10 soon. Sorry to hear Conan has Addisons disease I hope it hasn’t affected his quality of life too much? Out walks are always very interesting & long at times but wouldn’t change them for the world.
Speak soon take care.

Good afternoon Fleabane. Thank goodness it has not been so hot here over the weekend. Lilly is doing fine. She is asleep under the blanket at the moment. I am hoping that Stella’s Winston has coped ok with his thick coat. Your pets are all ok? Dog walking must have been a bit tricky. I think Eddie takes his ones out very early and very late to avoid the most intense heat. Looks like another shower heading our way. Hope your hospital appointments went ok and you don’t need to wait to long for the results. Enjoy the rest of the day. Love and a big hug from
Angie and sleepyhead Lilly xx
Hiya Jacquie, a warm welcome to you to our chat. You are so right about having a meal with your child/children and actually enjoy a lovely bit of banter and good conversations. So often you see families nowadays out for a meal and they are engrossed in their mobiles and not a word between them. Absolutely horrid if you ask me. Is it still very hot at your little corner of the world? Have a good afternoon/evening, love from
Angie and Lilly xxx
Great to hear from you Lee, although not so good that you have been in intensive care. The best of luck for your operation on Thursday. Lots of love and hugs x
