Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for June. If you would like to catch up on May's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hi Stella, probably down to Khao Lak in the south and then upcountry a bit near where my wife's family live. I'll only book the flight and sort out accommodation when we get there.

My mum and I are off to Lake Maggiore. It is going to be quite hot and sunny. Probably too hot!
Awww little Alfie must look gorgeous, did he make you proud, and did he enjoy his pampering, the post box topper is beautiful, a lovely gesture on someone's part, it's so nice of them to do such a thing

Awww sweetheart, our journeys are full of ups and downs, focus on the positives, like your doing, and deal with bumps in the road when they come, don't let their possibility spoil your good days, and its great to hear what a lovely time you've had with family and friends, and my very best wishes to you, and your team having some good options for you, your vase arrangement is so cute, and I imagine very fragrant.

Hi Chelle, I’ve just seen the picture of the Post Box. You mentioned I could crochet something for one, well, I’d be hard pushed to find a PB with nothing on it here. There are some lovely ones, sorry I don’t have any pictures! It really does put a smile on your face. Also it gives us Hope because some of them were done during Covid and the ones that weren’t damaged by the storms have remained untouched, and some damaged ones have been replaced or repaired!
Love Annette x
Good afternoon
It is rather warm here around 28C. We went to Chippenham park today as it only opens one week in June. It is all rather lovely. I think it should open to public once a month so we are not missing anything
Have a lovely weekend everyone x
Hi Patrick, thank you for your best wishes for my scan. It was quite straightforward. Now the long wait for the results. That's why I decided to go on holiday. No point sitting around moping and waiting. Better just to go and enjoy myself while I can.
October will not be long in coming. I can't believe it is June already. Thailand sounds like a beautiful place.
Postcard Corner sounds like a great idea but unfortunately I seem to have dismantled something on my phone which stops me downloading or uploading photos. I used to be able to do it but not now. I can only receive and send them through emails.
Have a lovely weekend.
Helen.
