  • Hi Lilly and Angie

Winston already had a huff as Craig went off to Glasgow for the weekend. He looked so worried when Craig brought out the suit case. It is surprising how a furry face can come up so many emotions.
Anyway he was visibly relieved that I came back after driving Craig to the station.

I am sure he is thinking of ways to punish Craig x

  • Dear me, let’s just hope it’s not yourself who is getting the full Winston treatment Grinningx  when are you heading of  to Italy ? Xx

  • I am off next Sunday. But Winston is a daddy’s boy so he is generally OK with me going away. He just really clingy with Craig.

  • Hi Chelle, we're only getting the odd sunny spell here in Yorkshire, I suggest you look further north my friend lol, cold as well ,warmth and sunshine Sun with face back next week Grinning.  Eddie xx

  • Wasnt me miss, honest, cloudy and showery weather in my neck of the woods but tolerably warm at 18 degrees. Hope you find the culprit soon though lol

  • Hi Stella

I’m off to Ibiza, a quiet hotel though in the old town well away from all the party people ! I’ve been before and liked the location. I’ve gone for luxury this time and also booked nice restaurants ahead so we don’t have to faff about when we get there - decided time to spend some of the money which I’ve worked hard for over the years

As well as my daughter I’m also taking my best friend of 30+ years - we are very close and have been through all the ups and downs of life together. I’m treating her to the break because she’s been here for me every day of the past 8 months 24/7

We have a room with a lovely  terrace overlooking the bay so we can chill out there if we don’t fancy going too far

No nails but just had my first cut and colour since before chemo ! I used the cold cap and managed to keep about 40% of my hair , it was very thick before which helped . My hairdresser has done a great job and the short new hair has blended in really well . I feel a bit more like me again

A few new outfits to pack and space left for new shoes - I love Spanish shoes and no doubt I will find a pair which I can’t possibly live without!

Your holiday sounds fabulous- I was in the Italian lakes about 15 years ago - it’s a very special place, spectacular scenery, elegant buildings and Italian food is my personal favourite and of course precious time with lovely your Mum - sounds just perfect Stella

    xx

  • You go girl, enjoy the moment, a lovely memory  to look back on for you all. xx

  • Absolutely, you enjoy your break and it sounds like you have planned for quiet days too in a great setting. Post a couple of photos and don't forget the shoes

    Patrick xx

  • Sounds fantastic! You are so lucky to have a such bestie. Great you are spending time together in Ibiza. Spanish shoes are very stylish and comfortable. You must get them whist there. Don’t forget to take your passport and ask for tax refund. As we are not in EU you will get 15-20% VAT back. There will be a booth / room for this at the airport. You need to the correct receipts at the retailer. X

  • Hi Lucy,  I'm so pleased you and  our  favourite dentist, Stella are getting away, I hope you both have a wonderful time with family and friends, going back to somewhere you know and love sounds perfect, and fingers crossed the weather's perfect for you both.

Lesley and I, are hoping to get to Avia on the 16th, I've never been, but the family know it well, we're doing a house swap, so if possible we can take a couple of grandkids.

Happy holidays to all of us.

    Eddie xx
