Hi GreenH, I understand joining our forum can be a difficult decision, but we're a friendly and supportive bunch,  ready to help everyone with our prognosis, as only we can, when your ready we'll be  here for you,

Thank you for your kind words. I thought I was ready but committing things in writing brought home again how dire things truly are. Perhaps I'll take baby steps and share a bit  more slowly, thank you for your understanding.

Take your time,  when your ready, you will be welcomed.

I have been stage 4 since day one, as many others.

We're here for each other my friend, and for you, in your own time, could I suggest you just read a few posts, maybe on the early morning chit chat thread, it's very lighthearted, and you can join ina conversation at any time if you want to, and you can share your story with us in your own time,

Hi GreenH, a very warm welcome from me. As Eddie said, there are loads of people here to offer their support when you need it and are ready, no matter how dire your situation. I know what you mean about putting pen to paper and staring at the reality. But I've learned that denial does not sit right either. I wish you well and jump in anytime.

I have very recently (this week) joined the group after being a long time lurker. It took me ages to commit my diagnosis to type too

Everyone is so friendly and supportive, it feels like such a safe and welcoming place

You don't have to disclose anything, or talk about your diagnosis if you don't want to! 

There are several threads or discussions going on at the moment, on topics like books, what we watch on TV, gardening, crafts and creative stuff.....there are plenty of opportunities for you to dip your toes in the water!

Hi GreenH, Firstly a warm welcome and well done for taking a step closer. I’m sure most of us lurked for a while reading posts etc before putting in writing we are a part of this Group. However I for one have never regretted joining this very supportive, caring Group!

Hiya Mr Green...welcome to our amazing forum. The support and friendship is wonderful. I like u am quite new and  it's taking alot of time to get into the flow of conversations and remembering who is who.

Just take ur time. Everyone is very easy going. We share alsorts from our tests and treatments,  pets, gardening, books, tv, hobbies. 

In my experience, this group of people are wonderfully uplifting
