Good morning all everyone,

Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.

The chit chat thread is for:

Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!

Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.

If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.

  • Hi Lucy, hope you get a good display in a couple of months. Can't wait to see a photo of them.

    Tvman x

    Love life and family.
  • Hi tvman, the wonderful photo of Winston is all Stella's work, and good luck getting to see your family my friend, bloody cancer, I'm hoping to get to Greece next week, but it's not looking good.

Hi Fleabane, great to hear you had a wonderful time in Wales my friend, and in a gorgeous castle as well, and taking your furry friend makes such a difference, he's adorable.

Hi  Lucy and welcome to the world of gardening, seeing your 1st seeds germinate is a lovely feeling,

Well hospice for me today, so catch up later.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Oh Eddie, I hope things improve for you so you can go. But I know you have lots to do and people to see closer to home if you don't make it.

    Patrick xx

  • Hi Eddie

Sad to hear your not feeling so great, but my thoughts and prayers are with you  both.Heart️

As Patrick said you have lots of people both near and far bringing you joy. Grinning

    Lo

  • Hiya Eddie, not good that you are feeling under the weather. Fingers crossed it will improve over the next few days. J&J will be disappointed and concerned no doubt, but knowing you it will take you no time at all to bounce back. You will be in my thoughts as always.

TVman and Mrs TVman, hope you will be ok after the mighty mess with your injections. Hope there will be an internal investigation taking place. Your Garden looks amazing.

Fleabane, what a beautiful place and huggable puppy. Glad you enjoyed yourself exploring beautiful Wales.

Hi Lucy, good luck with your gardening affords. I love all things connected with flower and nature, but sadly I am a terrible (but enthusiastic) gardener.

Greeting Patrick and Mrs Patrick, I was following the shocking news from Hamburg. I have been at that Train Station so many times in my youth and always with happy memories. They used to have a splendid Van selling Currywurst and Pommes with Majo there. First thing we got when we came back after travelling with our Eurocard  during the long holidays. Equally shocking was Liverpool (Liverpool supporter I have to confess!). I do hope that at some point people will realise that life is short and we should all get on with each other or at least respect each other. Hope you are both doing ok. Big hug making its way to your corner of the world.

Hi Stella and Winston, that photo of Lilly’s feline pin up boyfriend is just fabulous. Hope you all are fine and Winston is not huffing at present.

All the best Ellie for your treatment. Hope it will be kind to you. You certainly deserve an easy time. Big hug to you and your loved ones.

Love to you Annette and V. Hope you are doing ok and the sun is shining for you.

All the best to everyone for whatever lies in store ahead of us. Apologies because I am sure I have forgotten some folk. Love and a big hug to everyone from

    Angie and Lilly xx

  • Thanks Angie, I was  not going for treatment,  I have tablet form and take it every night 960mg no days of lol.

Was to get results of scans, CT and brain mri, the brain one was the first after having tumour out and the radiotherapy, every thing stable

    Hope your doing good.

  • Thanks Patrick, I hope so too, I talked to my nurse consultant and consultant at the hospice today, and they have given me some good advice.

How are you doing my friend, I  hope you and your family are ok, and you have your own plans for the summer.

    Eddie xx

  • Awww thanks Sledge, apart from being tired and aching bones, I feel ok, it's my CRP which is the main problem, and was hoping the new meds would be helping by now, our villa in Greece is a long way from hospital to have a bleed, "the villa doesn't belong to us, but to friends,  who we house swap with", so maybe I can get off a little later Grinning than the family.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Hi Angie,  thank you my friend, I'm sure J&J will be happy to see  Lesley and Mandy,  and maybe I'll turn up, even if it's a week later, after all I've been trying to learn a few phrases to converse with the locals, but it's all Greek to me,  and I  have a few easy days, just a couple of massages, then Ulls's service on Monday, for which I have a friend doing the driving.

    love Eddie and Sheila xx

  • Evening Ellie, good to hear things are stable my friend, and how are you feeling after your trip to hospital, I can't believe your new meds are 960mg a day, that would fill me up, no need for supper, are you allowed your glass of wine?, I have everything in place for Ulls's service on Monday, even someone to drive, so the forum will be represented, and I  made a couple of cards, ordered the flowers and have a teddy bear which I will attach your message too.

    Eddie xx
