Good morning all everyone,
Just setting up a new chat thread for May. If you would like to catch up on April's chat you can click here. Please note that it's now locked, so you won’t be able to reply to that thread.
The chit chat thread is for:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hi Sledge, sounds like you are coping really well! Don't worry about the cake, that can wait as your son says. We all have to focus on what we can do sometimes and not try and do too much and get pissed off when we don't live up to our own expectations. Enjoy the rest of the day!

Morning everyone
Hope everyone has some nice things to look forward to, even if it’s simply r & r
We are popping away for the night tomorrow, trying to grab the sun while it lasts ️
Family here again next weekend - we are near a certain well known football team which won the league this season so my son and nephew are coming to get involved with the celebrations with my hubby (I will be chauffeuring only!)
eddiel are you off to Greece this week ? I’m very jealous!
No hospital appointments this week , yay !! , waiting for my scan results so just trying to keep busy and make the most of each day
I started a mindfulness course at my local Maggie’s last week , it’s 2.5hrs every week for 8 weeks , the first one was really good, I’ve never managed to do mindfulness successfully before but doing well with my “homework” so far

Good morning everyone and Lucy. I have housework to do today. I am going to walk my four dogs in the woods this morning and then the dreaded housework. I hate being indoors if the sun is shining. I hear really good things about the Maggie centres but we dont have one close by. I hope you get good results from your scan. I am waiting for my results too and see oncologist on 28 May. Have a good day everyone.

Maggies is amazing, only trouble is mine is next to my christies hospital which is a fair drive away. We only visit after my appointments, but it really is a great place to de-stress....
Enjoy ur walk frolicking among the wood sorrel

Morning all, my day will be a mix of yours, some house work, walking my dog, and Fleabane as you prepare to come to South Wales I will be packing to leave for a few days away across the border. The sun is still shining here and I hope it stays for you.
We have a Maggie's centre in Cardiff which I haven't been to yet but should probably look into.
Enjoy your day all whatever you are up to.
