I spend a lot of time indoors, in front of the tv. I am a bit of a soap addict, with Eastenders being my favourite. But I am always looking for new things to watch, so thought I would start a thread to see what you have been watching, any good recommendations that might interest anyone.
Hi everyone, I came across a series called Water Rats on Amazon. It’s set around the Sidney Harbour water police . Never knew there were that many bodies and body parts floating around Sidney Harbour there are 6 seasons and they get better with each new season. I enjoyed Yellowstone too and plan to watch McLeods Daughters next, which by coincidence is also set in Australia. Enjoy your weekend as best as it will let you. Hugs from

Hi Chelle, I binge watched 4 seasons on a post chemo day when i struggled to get out of bed. It was a good fun watch though as you say a little sad. I have watched a couple of episodes of 1883 but need to get back to it. I haven't watched Yellowstone so wonder if I would follow it better if I had? I think I'll give This Cty is Ours a go as it's been mentioned quite a lot and I'm about to start the new series of Clarkson's Farm. Other than that I tend to watch a lot of true crime documentaries.
Keep the recommendation coming
Marie xx
Hi Marie
I am watching Clarkson’s farm new series too. It is very entertaining at the same time educational for folks like me who know nothing about agriculture. We stayed at Cotswold a few years back and saw them in the local pub.
Is anyone watching race around the world? There are 5 pairs of travellers who all start in one part of the world, and have to travel to a yet unknown destination with a number of check points on the way. Sounds easy right? So here’s the catch. No mobile phones, no internet, no credit cards. They are given a set budget in cash, and if it runs out they can work along the way to earn more cash. They can use every form of transport, apart from flying. This is the 5th series and they are in Asia, travelling across China, Nepal and India. You get to see some very interesting places, and how people live, but you also get to meet the contestants, and see their relationship and how the race impacts them. Wednesday nights 9pm On BBC1 and iplayer. .
I've been watching Who Do You Think You Are although I've still to see this week's episode.
I've also just finished watching series 3 of The Chelsea Detective. Not too serious but enjoyable just the same.
Helen
I will watch it, recording them all. I normally watch , have seen the other series of them/
I’m watching Spring Watch tonight
The badgers are fascinating, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a badger in the wild
Helen 53 I also watch who do you think you are. I have researched my ancestors through ancestry DNA and have managed to track my mother’s Italian family all the way back to the 1500’s. It was interesting seeing how in the late 1800’’s who stayed in Settefratti in Italy, and who emigrated, some to the uk, some to the states. I have connected to so many family members I didn’t know about. My dad’s side are from Jersey, and a couple of years ago we took my dad over to Jersey to see the house that his grandparents lived in.
