I spend a lot of time indoors, in front of the tv. I am a bit of a soap addict, with Eastenders being my favourite. But I am always looking for new things to watch, so thought I would start a thread to see what you have been watching, any good recommendations that might interest anyone.
This afternoon we watched one of my favourite films, that I have watched several times. About time starring Bill nighy who has the gift of travelling back in time, which his son also inherited. His son uses this “gift” to win over the love of his life, but he realises that rather than going back in time to change an event, he can go back and re live the best parts of his days. From doing this he realises that actually he likes his life just as it is. At the end of the film he says and I quote
The truth is I now don't travel back at all, not even for the day. I just try to live every day as if I've deliberately come back to this one day, to enjoy it, as if it was the full final day of my extraordinary, ordinary life.
Hi Tvman
I also love line of Duty. I didn’t know it was filmed in Belfast. I have been wondering which city it was set in.
I think Blue light will start again in May , looking forward to that.
Hi Chelle, I have never heard of this film but it sounds good. Is the name of the film “About Time”? Did you watch it on Netflix, BBCiplayer or where please. I would like to see it!
Love Annette x
Hi Annette yes it’s called About time, it was on channel 5 yesterday x
Thanks Chelle, I will watch out for them repeating it. Everything is repeated these days. We should be able to take our tv licence to the PO and say “just repeat that please!” LOL!
Love Annette x
Hi Lee2, I’m sure you could design one yourself!! The only one I can do is on its side! (:-)
“Grace” was good, we just watched it last night, anyone else watched it? Or even got it taped? Just in case I won’t spoil the story!
Love Annette x
I am really enjoying watching the 100. It is a long series though.
