I spend a lot of time indoors, in front of the tv. I am a bit of a soap addict, with Eastenders being my favourite. But I am always looking for new things to watch, so thought I would start a thread to see what you have been watching, any good recommendations that might interest anyone.
Hi Chelle, I'm sure you will enjoy it, it just gets better!
Hi Lee2 What is the 100 please? The only thing I can think about out is the Quiz, but I think it is called 100 to 1. I take it that's not what you are talking about!
Love Annette x
Hi anndanv I am now up to date with Grace, so sat down last night to watch the latest episode….and fell asleep, so I still need to watch half of it !
We did watch Black work on Netflix the weekend. That was very good, it has Sheridan Smith who is a police officer who’s husband is killed, and she tries to uncover who murdered him.
Hi Annette, I really have been enthralled with the Chess series that finished last night. I was our school's team captain although since I left school I haven't kept it up. Watching the Chess series has rekindled my love for the game..Harry my grandson is learning how to play it at school and when we were last over at my daughter's, I played a few games with him.

Hi Tvman Grandchildren love playing any kind of game. I taught our son when he- was young & he played in the High School & Uni Chess Teams. He has taught our grandson & he is getting very good. It is great for teaching them patience & Strategy. You should maybe look for a Chess Club for the winter when you can’t get out in the garden as much!
Please give Mrs T my love & of course it comes to you too!.i
Love Annette x
Have you watched Queens gambit TV series on Netflix? It is about a girl’s journey to become a chess grand master. Not sure how realist it is but highly entertaining watch.
Hi Stella, I haven't heard of that, I'll maybe have a look at it later x
Tvman
I am currently watching fake on itv and you can see the full series in itv X. It’s a romance scam, a journalist thinks she’s fallen for her mr right, but he’s not all that he says he is. I still have a couple of episodes to go, but it all seems far to obvious at the moment so I’m waiting for the twist.
Morning Chelle, just wanted to wish you a happy early May day bank holiday and ask how little Alfie is doing, PS i'm still watching a little golf, and I did watch a film too, The Last Bus with Timothy Spall, which I enjoyed.
Eddie xx
Hi eddiel little Alfie is keeping me very busy, hence why I have only just seen your message, but thank you for your kind wishes. The weather has turned much cooler here which I am extremely grateful for, my body does not cope with the heat, I spent most of last week feeling very unwell because of it, so I’m grateful for my tv programmes to keep me occupied when I’m stuck indoors. Hope you have had a lovely bank holiday
The last Bus is a great film!! I love Timothy Spall is a great actor isn’t he. That truly is a great film for anyone to watch who hasn’t seen it yet. You will need your tissues for this one.
