....I need to be doing for others. I am so happy u have found comfort in patchwork. I love sewing whether repair or embroidery or designing my own stuff. So relaxing ...as u will see I am a bit of a butterfly. I flutter from hobby to hobby..lol...can do most but master of none...I love your design of the patchwork...beautiful...very special

Hi Fleabane, I would love to say the design was mine, but alas no, nor indeed the colour scheme. so well done you, designing your works, fab, and I know what you mean about hobby hopping, I do paper craft, card craft, gel plate printing, pottery, a stained glass workshop and patchwork, as well as baking, gardening, art and reading which I like to do with family or by myself.
Doing for others is also important to me.

Hi Fleabane, I could knit too but had never crocheted, I started a hat but it was a bit boring to be honest, so I started doing squares too. It is amazing how many different kinds there are and there are lots of things you can make with them. I put a photo on here, it is on Page 6 if you go to the bottom of the page you can click on the number 6 if you want to see them, I think we are on page 9 just now. There is a lot of help on Utube if you type in “crochet for beginners”! I am really enjoying it, hope you do too!
Love Annette x
