Morning Annette, it's good to hear the meds are helping, and you had 3 decent nights sleep, and your listening to the doctors advice and resting up, sounds like he'll to me, bur necessary. Oh Annette I wish it was a "ship," we've been told told the bad weather forecast in a few days will impact the cruise, though hopefully not cut it short.

Morning Tvman, I like doing any animals, but with watercolours landscapes are nice too, and im with you regarding envisaging things, I've had acquired aphantasia, for nearly a year now, so when I close my eyes and try to imagine something all I visualise in my mind is complete darkness, so I need pictures to reference, though just lately I've been getting the odd flash of memory.
I've recently got back into drawing with just a pencil, it was what I enjoyed in my younger days, and thanks to a wonderful friend at my local cancer charity, I've got a fab teacher as well.
I'm not sure I could do jigsaws my friend my concentration, or lack of, wouldn't allow it. So well done you in pushing your limits, PS do you frame them when complete or put them back in the box?.

Hi Tvman, I have also done a few jigsaws of Monet’s paintings and they are need a challenge. I think this is because he uses 10 or more shades of the same colour as the sea or sky! Just think how good it will feel when you have completed it! Take a picture of it when you have completed it, so we can see how clever you are! The Bridge is coming on well. I usually start on the dark colours, like trees and bushes and work from the outside in. Good luck!

Hi Eddie, so so sorry I didn't reply to your question of whether I frame the jigsaws or not. Well, the answer to that is no, with a couple of exceptions. When I was around 10, 11 or 12, I completed a jigsaw of York Minster which included a large stained glass window. That took me a month or so to complete during which I had to rip out both sides and redo it. To this day I have never broken it up, it's in between two sides of a folding street plan. It has been unbroken for 55 years and I'd show you it but for the fact it's on a shelf in the built-in wardrobe in our bedroom. As it's almost 6am Mrs Tvman wouldn't be best pleased if I woke her up now.
It's not exactly framed although I do have another one that is framed and hanging on the wall in our hallway. That wasn't difficult to do as it's of a city centre street plan of my home city, Belfast.
