Hi Everyone, Well I started to make a blanket with granny squares for my crochet project, then I decided it would be a bag but it was too bulky. Finally it is finished and I’ve made a cushion as you can see below. Now what will my next project be I wonder!!
1 side The other side
Before Christmas I had never even held a crochet hook! There’s no stopping me now!!

Morning Annette, the cushion looks gorgeous and sits really well with the sofa, and I'm sure you already have lots of ideas in mind for your next project, and I'm sure all your family will be wanting one as well.
I know what you mean about how much a new hobby can mean, I need my daily patchwork fix, even in hospital I was cutting up shapes for my future duvet projects, my wonderful teacher wants me to move on from simple square patterns, but I'm happy where I am.
love Eddie and Sheila xx
They look great! Well done Annette ! Looking forward to see more of your creations. X
Thank you Eddie & Stella for your kind words!
Of course you are right Eddie, I have lots of things in mind of what to do next! I think your teacher is right and you could easily do more complicated patch work but as long as you are happy with what you are doing, there is no need to put pressure on yourself to do more complicated things! It is all about enjoyment!

Hi Annette, absolutely super. Well matched to the chair/sofa. At home here Mrs Tvman's family are/were all avid crochet, knitting and embroidery fans. Our 3 children were christened in an embroidered gown that was well over a century old made in the days of low oil lighting and of course pre television days. Possibly even pre radio days.
Keep it up Annette, you've got a real talent there!

Thanks Tvman & Lee2 you are very kind! The shawl sounds wonderful! Now Eddie have you got spies in Scotland? Yes I have done one amigurumi animal, he was a tortoise for our youngest granddaughter. That was the first thing I crocheted. Now I have started a penguin for our other granddaughter!! How did you know!!
