Someone somewhere commented asking about my crocheted frog..... Here's him!
I will try and find the comment asking after him but just in case! xx
I started Target therapy tablets Friday, that the eight.
Just read your profiled.my daughters breast cancer is different to yours, she had a Mastectomy, with reconstruction. all a learning curb reconstruction, she is on one of the tablets you are on.
Its a long long journey we are all on, and we do learn so much along the way.
ellie 73 You've reminded me to check my profile is up to date!
Yeah, 'my' targeted therapy is what's causing my thinning hair, and am hoping I don't lose it fully. Hope you tolerate your drugs. After a bumpy first week I seem to be going along not too bad just now, touching wood. xx
Hi Everyone, It’s your friendly night owl here at ridiculous o’clock as usual!
Ellie, it is a pity you can’t take a glass of wine to wash down your tablets, or can you!! LOL! That’s would make it a lot easier. Sorry about your hair (to all that are having problems). When I was on Target Drug my hair got so thin you could see a lot of my scalp. A hairdresser in Maggie’s told me to use Planten 39 and I had quite good results but a while ago my sister mentioned ‘W’ GROW. ME shampoo ( Watermans) someone who had just finished RT told her about it. I find it excellent! I buy it direct from them via the Internet, it is not cheap but you only need a small amount. At first I used it every third day but now use it once a week. I think it is worth treating yourself! The weather here has been awful over the last few weeks, we have had one day where the sun came out and the rest have been frost, snow, wind and rain. However it is getting lighter and it will soon be spring. I have a lot of bulbs shooting up in the garden, I just hope they don’t freeze or drown before they get to bloom. We have another busy week, mostly appointments etc Lex hope you have a great birthday tomorrow. Oh! Who mentioned Updating their Profile??? Mine is too long already and it has been a few years since I updated it. I keep meaning to delete it and make it more concise but just not got around to it yet! Love to all x
Love Annette x
Morning I can see the sleep is no better Annette hopefully your upcoming visit to the pain clinic will help . Horrible day and night here but at least it’s fine at the moment . I lost my hair after my treatment a fact which caused me some distress ( Bain or what ?) I tried the watermans grow me shampoo and conditioner it has a lovely smell and I think it helped . My hair is still very short and curly and has gone white ( I used to cheat and have it coloured ) the money I saved on the hairdressers makes the shampoo feel it’s worth it . I have a wig and wore it a lot in the beginning now I don’t and hope that my hair looks trendy ( not sure it’s there yet mind )
I'm am going to tackle a bed change and washing today I hope that appointments and scans go well for you who have them and wish you all a reasonable day . X Chris
