We've officially entered February, new thread as kindly requested by ellie 73
Description:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hi everyone, just popping in to say hello. I’ve been around, but not posted as I am grieving terribly at the moment for my little dog. She was 9 years old, and we thought she had sprained her leg jumping off the sofa, but after an X-ray we learnt that she had bone cancer in both back legs, and it was going through her body fast. We lost her 2 days later. I am heartbroken.
Ulls I am sorry to hear your news, I hope they have done the drain now, you will feel much more comfortable once that has been done.
ellie 73 I have been keeping a close eye on your posts, good luck on Thursday, I have heard good things about targeted therapy.
Lec I know how hard things are for you, good to see you are still checking in, we all worry about you.
anndanv good to see your husband treatment is going well. Your pain clinic appointment seems a long time coming! I hope they can help you to get some sleep.
My thoughts are with everyone else, hope everyone’s treatments are going well, and you are all keeping up with the never ending appointments! I have my denosumab on Friday, and CT results next Tuesday.
Good morning
I am writing from a hospital bed! Unfortunately I had a high temperature last night so have to stay overnight at the hospital. I am having IV antibiotics as my neutrophil level is too low. So no chemo today.
Feeling totally OK probably just some cold virus. Now my cycle has moved by a week, all my plans are ruined. So annoying!
Hopefully can go home today.
I’m sorry that you are not well hopefully the antibiotics will help the infection and they can increase your neutrophils so disappointing that your plans are to change fingers crossed at least you will get home sending love Chris x
Oh Chelle, I am so sorry to hear about your little furry friend, this awful disease isn't bothered who it attacks, having had and lost many dogs and cats, I know how difficult it is to lose them, sending hugs, and best wishes for your treatment and results.
Eddie xx
Get well soon my friend, I will have everything crossed your home safely soon, I'm sure you will find a new plan, try to be positive Stella.
Eddie xx
Good morning Chelle, I am truly so sorry for your pain after loosing your pet. It is such a traumatic time when our furry companions have gone from our lives, but you have all the happy memories which will stay with you forever in a corner in your heart.
love Angie and Lilly xxx
Chelle
I am so sorry about your dog. It is really terrible when we lost our fur baby. Sending you lots of hugs x
Good morning Stella, hope your results will be better soon and you can go home. Winston will be missing you. I feel your frustration with change of plans. My neutrophils have the habit of getting low and my treatment has to be postponed by anything from a week to 3 weeks. Stay cosy and warm
big virtual hug from Angie and Lilly xxx
