Description:
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Morning all dull and blowing a gale here but I’m not staying in I need to get these legs moving had a lovely few days with my cousin and her husband staying but too much food and wine ( nice though) have a good weekend everyone and good luck with your appointments x Chris
It is sunny for a change today so have to get out and about.
Craig and I went to Chippenham park today but we didn’t realise it is cash only for everything including entrance fee/ coffee. Luckily I have RHS membership so Abel to get in and had a good walk around. It is very beautiful with all the snowdrops, hellebores. Craig has to go and sit in the car instead.
The we went a very good local nursery and bought a lemon tree on impulse! Hope it will survive us. Winston seems quite like it.
Hope everyone have a relaxing weekend x
Tree is lovely, does the leaves have a smell of lemon by any chance. pf lemon by any chance.
What a difference it makes when sun is out, you have had a good then, bonus.
Ellie I have checked the leaves have no smell. There are two lemons on the tree. It supposed to flower in March and April time. Hope that would be fragrant.
Oh right just thought perhaps they did, will look nice when it flowers, some thing to look forward to, new life.
Good evening Stella, I love your new tree. What a great idea. Winston looks just lovely. I went to the my Clinic at the Hospital today to get my bloods done again and hooray they were up enough to commence treatment. Now just the 3 monthly scan on Monday and I should be appointment free for a week . It sounds as if Craig and yourself enjoyed a lovely day. It’s a bit of a pain sometimes with the cash only payments. In our Village the Hairdresser and both the Indian and Chinese Take Away only take cash as well. Pain in the unmentionable I have to say. Everybody enjoy the rest of the evening and a grand weekend. Love from Lilly to Winston
love Angie and Lilly xx
Evening Angie, I'm pleased but not surprised your bloods were up my friend, great news, and my best wishes for your scan on Monday, and days off , I've heard of them, lol, I will be visiting Lesley, and seeing my neurologist this weekend, take care
love Eddie xx
Hi Ellie, Just wanted to say good luck with your scan!
Somehow I can’t imagine you having a “long lie”!! What do you do, get up at 8am instead of 7am!!! LOL!!
Hi Alana, Great news about the bloods. We had a bit of snow today, did you?
Hi Chelle, yes the same thing happened to me with so called friends. I met someone from the Tennis Club a few years ago and she actually said “Oh Hi, I thought you had died”! Friends like that i don’t need. I am also left with 2 proper friends. One is now in a Care Home with Lewy Body Dementia, with Parkinson’s, I visit every week, the other, I’m going out for lunch later with her! It is true, you don’t know who your friends really are until something like this happens!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Love Annette x
