Hi Chelle, I am so sorry to hear of your family bereavements, it is bad any time but somehow during the Festive Season it does seem worse. I hope your wee dog has recovered well from the op and is getting better every day.
Wow a Christmas Wedding, congratulations to your daughter and your new sil! I’m sure you all had a lovely day! Sorry about your water situation, your husband wouldn’t have been able to run to Tesco here as all our shops &supermarkets were closed.
Thanks for your good wishes Moi. We have been lucky but some neighbours have had sheds, garden furniture, plant pots and even large trampolines blown away and in the area there have been a lot of trees blown down. There wasn’t a car to be seen on the roads as people stayed home for the day as advised. As Alana has said there is another storm due soon but thankfully not as bad but with snow to follow! During the night it sounded as if our roof would lift off with the wind being so strong but thankfully it is still in tact!

anndanv The water came back on yesterday, having seen the news last night I think we are very lucky. I feel so sorry for those poor people that have no power and not expecting it to return for days. I am glad all seems well with you, and hopefully it has blown over now, literally.
Good morning everyone, I hope your all doing ok, and sharing the sunshine, and have something nice planned for the day, no appointments today, so a walk to the allotment to see friends and then lunch with one of them, she's taking me to a veggie place that does amazing food, and a farm shop, fab, and doing tax returns later with my account, best £60 I spend all year,
Whatever your plans, enjoy and be careful.
love Eddie xx
Enjoy your lunch Eddie, glad to report that only a section of my felt from the shed blow away. Sunshine for now with a bit of wind. Lilly is much happier again and has stopped her huffing and restlessness. She can’t stand when it’s stormy. Strong winds are supposed to make cats’ ears sore. Of course she is not inclined to venture out if the weather is in any way inclement. Just makes her skittish. Well we all have our own wee little ways, when all is said and done. Hope nobody had any damage from the storm and you all have a good weekend.

Hi Angie, I'm glad there was no serious damage from the storm, and you and her ladyship are good. It's a lovely sunny day here too, though it's going down already, it's nice to know Lilly is having a better day, as I hope are you, and true we are all individuals, Poppy isn't a fan of rain, and as she gets older, she's more fussy about the days she will go out, maybe she's copying me lol.
love Eddie xx
you just made my night Eddie . You would not have said that last week when I slid very un-gracefully on my unmentionable down the snow, clutching on to my bin, which decided to speed up and made my fall. Must have been a comical picture. Thankfully there was nobody to witness my little escaped or I would have been so embarrassed. Needless to say I might have uttered a few I uncomplimentary words on the way down. My bin has to go down to the school bus shelter and as you know the slope is a bit steep. Roll on Spring for the sake of my posterior wishing you all a cosy evening
