  • Hi how is everyone? Recovering from all the food and drinks?

I had a largely enjoyable time with my mum and Craig. Sadly my dad was angry with the inconvenience my incurable diagnosis brought. He said I was not going to fulfill my duties to him and it was too much work for him to come and visit me again. My condition made my mum sad and he therefore would never forgive me.
I feel bad for my mum and Craig as I so wanted everything to be good for them. However when there is difficulty people show up in different ways.
We went to Wimpole hall Christmas light trail and that was nice Blush

  • Hi Stella, I'm happy to hear  you've had a lovely time with your mum and Craig, and Wimpole lights look amazing, and thank you for the picture,I don't drink myself, but I have had 5 Christmas dinners already and have gone to Scarborough to hopefully walk a few pounds off.

Stella, I know it's not my place, and though I disagree 100% with what your dad said, and as a parent with a daughter with cancer too, I can understand the emotions your dad is going through and the irrational things we can do and say at times, I'm sure  your dad will think about what he said and realise he's wrong to blame you, and nobody wants to have this awful disease.
