Morning Stella, thankfully Lily has outgrown the need to explore the tree. As for the weather it is cold and just started to rain. Got my wood burner going and shall be cosy in no time. Some gifts wrap and an afternoon nap is the plan. This was in the good old days
love Alana and Lilly xxx
Hi Ellie, appointments done, just routine things, how did you get on with the phone calls, I do hope you made some progress my friend, if not, I know what I would be doing. Tidying garden today as it's last green bin collection this week, don't know why but I checked for nesting birds, staying in bed is so tempting at this time of year, but with only 7 hours of daylight, you have to make the most of it. I can imagine how difficult it is writing your Christmas cards, I have a lazy eye, and can barely read with it, so well done you.

Hi Stella, I'm glad you had a wonderful time with your friends yesterday, and its normal at times to grieve the life we've left behind, but focus on what you can do and the wonderful things you still have in your life, and from your posts, I can see you have many, and dinner with more friends today, lovely.
My youngest daughter & hubby are farmers, they live maybe 25 minutes away, and do dinner for all the family, most Sundays, which is fab, there are usually between 11 and 15 turn up, and as my eldest daughter and I love baking together we do the pudding.
Grey, cool and drizzly here, so making some winter vegetable soup for the freezer, have fun with your friends'

Hi
I phoned my lung nurse last Monday, the surgeon sent me a letter saying I have been passed me back to my oncologist, and requested scan after 8 weeks, nurse never ever got back to be, first thing this morning I phoned again, she said i e mailed my oncologist no reply, she will e mail again.
I started cleaning a window, and hey the phone went, mri department here, can we book you in For Brain Scan on Friday, of course I said no lol.
I have some titanium in head now, the Nero surgeon did a scan after op, and told me it is combatable with all scanners., try explaining that to radiologist.
I phoned Pals had to leave a message and will get back with in two days, so here is hoping.
I have cleaned some windows and a fridge out.
To cold for me in garden i with these blood thinners. Hey Ho this is what we have been dealt.
The saying is.
Be grateful for what you have, and not for what you have not got, in your life.
Enjoy your gardening keep warm.
Hi Alana
I gave my large artificial tree, baubles and lights away last year....my little house is too small for a large tree.
I do have 2 very small trees, which have my collection of painted wooden ornaments. I put these away in a cardboard box, with the baubles still in place! So all I have to do is lift them out and put in place. I think I really am getting rather lazy! !t only takes a few seconds and I'm ready for Christmas!
Hi Ellie, I'm sorry you've been forced into contacting PALS,because of the terrible way they have been with you, but a big hug for doing so,
Oh to have a joined up health service, where they talk to each other. You shouldn't have to explain to any scanning unit that it's safe for them to scan you,
I managed to fill the green bin, but it was cold, I'm on thinners too, 15 minutes in the bath, and I'm functioning again.
Did you find any surprises in the fridge Ellie, a bottle of wine maybe, I'm doing my freezers Wednesday, need to make some space, I need a chest freezer like you, maybe I'll get one for Christmas lol. I hope you've got your feet up with a glass of your favourite to hand
