Hi Alana
I've just got up, later than usual, and it's still dark! Ugh!
It's pretty awful outside, and it's going to get much worse, but we usually don't get the brunt of any storms.
The winters here have got wetter since I moved here, but it's rare for us to get any snow.
I'm definitely staying in today and listening to the Archers!
Morning Kate, wise decision to stay put today. I am not going out either. Already very windy and wet here. Lilly took one look outside the kitchen door and came straight back inside again and is sound asleep on the sofa now. That cat does like her comfort. Have a good afternoon and fingers crossed the power will stay on

Hi Angie & Puddock, I spoke too soon, wet and windy here with added sea spray, lovely, so we're having a cosy time till it clears up, with a cup of raspberry and lemon tea "thanks Angie", and taking Lilly's lead and snuggling up on the settee, Sad to hear about Chris Hoy, must be so much harder for him, having little ones and his partner with MS, a lovely man and too young for this.
love Eddie xx
Hi Eddie, glad you enjoy the tea, it’s one of my favourites. Yes it is very sad news about Chris Hoy, but You never know there might be a cure just round the corner . It is sunny and not too windy just now but the brunt of it is supposed to come this evening and during the night. Have a cosy evening you two. Hope nobody on this chat has been negatively effected by the storm
