Good evening Eddie. I have just finished the last book in the tetralogy from Simon Scarrow about Wellington and Napoleon. It is classed as fiction but gives an enjoyable if sometimes graphic reading of both mens development into 2 Soldiers one Destiny. Previous to that I have been reading Karen Harper, Sandra Gulland, Nigel Tranter’s Stuart Trilogy, Sharon Penman, and some Autobiographies. I like most everything except Si-Fi books. Poetry is another one of my favourites. But have to be in the mood for it. Do you read a lot? I am now starting on A small part of History by Peggy Elliott. A woman’s account of the long journey along the original Oregon Trail. My friend recommended it so the jury will be out. Hope you and Sheila have a nice evening.
Alana and Lilly xxx
LOL I am not silly i knew they would find them, but have another place, they have yet to find, so tea and biscuits i had.
I do say you do not live here any more but its always yes we know, but still home lol.
Hope you have been in the garden if the weather has been kind to you.
Been really lovely here today, makes you fill brighter in one self.
I haven't had chance to do any gardening today, as I was at a textile group meeting in the morning, then looking after 3 dogs in the afternoon! Did manage to watch some TV though, which is a treat for me, as I don't own one. I usually listen to the radio.
it has been sunny here today, but still that cold wind. ugh!
Yes....I have had so many rude letters from the TV licence people over the years...they don't believe me either! I get threatened with prosecution, fines, all sorts.
If I do get near a TV, I just watch rubbish endlessly, then I feel annoyed with myself for not doing something more interesting. At least with a radio, you can get on and do other things whilst you listen.
I do like watching quiz programmes on telly....like Countdown and Tipping Point, Mastermind.....I do get to see them every now and again.
I LOVE watching snooker! Usually invite myself to my friends houses to watch when big tournaments are on. My mum watches too....and she's 93 !!
I like quiz programmes as well, surprise myself some times, and think did not realise how clever i was lol.
I like Snooker but used to watch it more when i was younger used to like a lot more things when younger lol
I enjoy ready and crosswords, but not done any for ages, waiting to get eyes sorted, next Tuesday yes, have eight new books to read.
