We don't need this Ellie, I nave been sent to the wrong hospital, and not long ago i had 3 appointments to see the same consultant at 3 different times at 2 hospitals on the same day, how can this happen, Ellie for what it's worth i would go with Friday 3rd as Monday is a bank holiday.
Eddie
This is not my normal hospital, its the one in London to get results of the scan i am getting on this Friday.
I know they will say come 24th may or 31st, cannot do 31st, got letter Saturday booked to get eyes done. have waited, a year for that.
24th i have no family members here all on holiday, do i go for results on my own, not sure.
Hi Ellie, I am so sorry you have been given the runaround by these incompetent appointments people!
I wonder have you got the Consultant's secretary's name? If so I would call her and let her know how stressed you feel with all this going on.
Last time when they phoned to say they had a slot to get your eyes done, you had to decline because of your workmen and the fact they didn't give you much notice! This time if it was me, I'd get the op and put other things on hold.
I don't think it is a good idea to go alone for results.i would be asking them to reshedule it as there is no way you could travel all that way alone. You have waited all this time, another week or so won't change anything but at least you would be able to read a book while you are waiting.
Things don't seem to be improving either. My young sister broke her wrist the other week and had to wait six days for an appointment to get it plastered. Then when she went, they xr-ayed it again and said "sorry this is going to hurt as it has started to heal in the wrong position. You should have come sooner!" She put in a Formal Complaint! Take care
