New month, new thread.
Daily Life chit chat for bloods, scans, appointments, going shopping, cutting grass, reading, watching some thing decent on TV - whatever your day has in store for you. That is daily life!
Even having a laugh, that is a normal life, and we all have it.
If you have a special topic please start a new thread so people that wish to see it can, and can comment.
Hope this is to everyone's approval.
Thanks.
Hi Candysmum there are lots of jar opener aids you could use, I use one occasionally really simple to use and makes removing lids effortless it's called a good grips twist jar opener, off the internet, or you could contact the occupational therapist they should be able to help

Hi Ulls i wish they were all at the same place, fed up with driving and roadworks everywhere, As i said to Ellie their not all hospitals, I do have 2 camera's and a MRI on Saturdays as well as 2 telephone appointments. I hope Monday went well for you.

Hi Kate, (Candysmum) I too have osteoarthritis and know exactly how frustrating it can be. I bought a jar opener in a hardware store, that takes the air out of the jar then it opens no problem every time! I have had mine for over 15 years but I think you may be able to buy it on the Internet or mobility shop now! I will look it up and let you know if I find it anywhere. I couldn't do without it!

Well Ellie, what a shame about your floor. I did the same thing last week but dropped a large jar of coffee granules, even after I re washed the floor, I kept finding granules everywhere!
All that has happened to you recently has definitely made you a strong lady! Surely your luck has GOT to change soon!

Hi Annette and everyone
Thanks for responding to my cry for help! i thought a certain store named after the Lake District might sell something (guidelines say you can't advertise on here!). I'll get myself one, then I can enjoy my preserved lemons, black olives and all the jars of home-made jam that I haven't been able to get into!
Have a good morning!
Kate
