I'm in the middle of making my tea....a middle eastern recipe which calls for preserved lemons. Yes, I have a new jar in the cupboard, but can I open it??? Severe frustration! i have arthritis in my hands, so simple jobs like opening jars drives me mad! The recipe just won't be the same without the lemons!
A similar thing happened the other day when I was cooking a pasta dish. Couldn't open the jar of olives. I will have to start asking any visitors to open new jars for me if they call in. Beginning to feel old!
Well i did open some thing washed my floor, and then opened big bag rice and dropped it all on the floor.
I struggle with jars, but have now learnt, i have a sharp pair of scissors' and i stab lid couple of times and can open.
Sounds nice if done with the lemons, it is very frustrating when one can not do such a simple task, that they used to.
