Hi Ulls, We have a corner plot, so a fairly big garden but slowly been changing borders & grass areas. Our garage is round the corner at the side and we have taken away 2 grass areas with path in between and borders behind them, so with 1 car in the garage, we can now park another 3 cars comfortably.on monoblock. In the back garden we have patio with Pots, 2 large sheds, a bike shed and a greenhouse plus a couple of raised beds. Eddie, my greenhouse is just a shelf units with zip cover, it is all I need. It's quite sad having to loose most of my garden, I used to spend hours in it!

Hi Anndanv and everyone
At long last, managed to get my new garden shed constructed today! It arrived before Christmas, but has taken ages to get a friend plus my husband available at the same time, to put it all together.
All I have to do now is fill it with all the usual garden stuff that has been lying around, or stored inside the house.
My garden was abandoned 4 years ago, so I'm only just starting to deal with it after buying the house, and moving in last year. The previous owner planted everything so close together, it's like a jungle! Everything has grown so tall, competing for light, but I love it! it's like a secret garden, full of surprises.
It is my 5 year project....perhaps being a bit optimistic about that, but I'll do what I can!
It sounds like you still have plenty of garden areas to look after Annette!

Hi Moi sorry to hear what your going through, hope you get some answers soon so they can do something about it, Though if it's an innocent murmur it may not need treating, but were not usually that lucky are we, I have had a murmur ,abnormal, for many years caused by ischemic heart disease, which i self manage though do have an echocardiogram to monitor it good to hear you are improving. Operation seems to have gone well, see consultant tomorrow so maybe find out more
Hi Ellie, Kate and everyone, You must feel the same as I do about regimented gardens Ellie with the flowers in proper rows, I just don't like that. I like a herbaceous border that looks like very little is there in the winter but when spring comes, they all start growing again!
Kate, I think a 5 year project sounds good. When we went to Amsterdam a while after my dx, I ordered a lot of bulbs, tulip, daffodils, crocus, narcissus etc dozens of each. We went in April and bulbs got delivered in the October to plant for flowering the following Spring, now that was optimistic. I gave some to my 2 sisters and 2 best friends..They have continued to bloom every year since, giving much joy. Yes you are right, I still have enough garden to keep me busy!
Love Annette x
