  • Joy I've just seen what i wrote! Yes, I've had one counselling session over the phone/video call...not ideal Will see what my therapist can do. The hospice does offer emotional counselling but I'm not if that's what I need.

  • You can only ask, for advise and i am sure, they would, recommended the right way to go.

  • So yesterday I found out basically why my daughter does not come to see me  she lives a 3 minute walk away.  Anyway I found out that basically when she sees me she only sees cancer and is not strong enough to deal with it and while she is in her own bubble she doesn't have to think if it  .so I've made the painful decision to leave her be. If seeing me is not good for her mental health then I will stay away.  As heartbreaking as it is its for the best  . Thats what's I'm telling myself anyway xx

  • Hi Judy the specialist nurses at Maggies are wonderful, they have helped me many times.  No appointment needed.
