A new thread other getting full lol (continued from thread no 13)
Talk about what ever you wish to, within reason,
What your up to today, what you may be doing, having bloods done, or scan day, or results,
Though if you have a special topic, please start anew thread,
This is for daily everyday life, we talk about this and that, and yes rubbish, and nonsense at times, me included.
That is some times what daily life is like,
Hello all, sorry not popped in earlier but things happen, places to be then the phone needs charging, you know how it is. Sorry the shingles are still bothering you Ellie. And sorry to hear that Ulls is still in hospital, poor guy. Hopefully he’ll be back making us chuckle again soon.
My mum who’s nearly 80 came to help me with my garden. We did lots more and have carried on the good work that my friends started. It’s quite a big garden and I’d lost my mojo this year but now feel I’ve got it back again and have done lots of cutting back today.
Tomorrow I’m going to my son’s internship presentation. He has got a job after a year internship at the hospital. He has learning difficulties and has not found life easy since he started school. Since leaving school he has gone from strength to strength, I’m so proud of him. School as it is now doesn’t suit everyone and I say that as an ex teacher. Many children don’t thrive in the system and quite a few fail. It makes me so sad to see that happening. Anyway enough doom and gloom, it’s a day for celebration tomorrow

Aw Jac, it's quite understandable that you haven't been with us for a while. You have a lot on your plate. I can feel your pride in your son through your writing. What a super son you have, enjoy the day today/tomorrow, when his name is called out your chest will fill with pride and you'll be thinking "that's my son!".
Mrs Tvman was a classroom assistant for over 30 years and in the beginning she dealt with Downs Syndrome children but moved to a larger school and worked with children in general in a permanent P1 position. She was to retire this year but with her cancer diagnosis she had to retire a month earlier than she wanted to.
I hope you will enjoy your son's internship presentation very much, well, I know you will.

I’m so pleased that your son has done so well and has finally found a job that he can enjoy and feel valued. Yes, you will be super proud tomorrow
My son worked with special needs children in a school for a few years. And the highlight of my life was to go and watch them in their shows. They were so talented and loved performing.

You should be proud, your his mum, and he has come a long way, some thing in the past, you may not, have thought he might do.
Head held high, and smile on your face, you done it my boy, and my hearts full of glee, you proved them all wrong, though not me. xxxx

Ha, i wish i could go on holiday by myself. It still feels like parenting when we go on holiday. No respite. The kids would still moan but just about the heat, mosquitos and food lol. The last week or so has been unbareable cooped up inside because of the weather
