Morning, new thread, other, has had a few replies.
Normal chit chat, talk about every day life, what you are doing for the day, bloods, scans app, though if a special topic, please start another thread..
Enjoy every day the best you can,
It must have been strange going back to school after all those years, did you get any detentions!?
In saying that my wife and I went to night school for three years to improve our French, didn't improve that much, just as hard as I remember!
I did manage an education, left after my o Levels. Passed all my Mocks but only ended up with two real ones. Too lazy to revise, story of my life!
English was my forte, language not lit.
Sorry to but in, did you not learn Double Dutch or Chinese,
Not the second time round but was quite naughty when I was young so yes! Calmed down in my last year.
But I do remember queuing up to go in to class and we were told to stop talking. I didn’t hear the teacher say that so carried on talking and was told to go and get the detention book!!!! Those were the days you didn’t talk back to the teacher, not like today.
A bit of waffle mixed up with fake cockney, that's me.
Well i was a real good girl at school, i became a prefect then head, , though a lot of the kids, was always getting sent to headmaster, for the cane.
So i wanted the cane, i wanted to be like the others, i played up, got the cane, only the once never again.
I was no longer Head Prefect. xx
Thought some times it was double dutch, because have no idea what you may be going about, though i could be wrong.
Honestly Ellie there’s a limit to wanting to be like your peers! Oh! I remember the cane. Our headmaster would walk around with the dreaded stick protruding underneath his jacket. He put the fear in us
But I don’t think it did any good as it was always the same kids lining up for the cane, poor blighters. I don’t think any girl got it.
I got well with Mr Bradshaw he took English lit..I behaved in his class.
And he did tell my mum years after I left that he would look out for me in assembly as he knew I had to lip read. xxxx

That’s one of the good things about getting older! I have friend whose quite a bit younger than me. I’d always wanted a nose stud like hers. At 50 I was too old same at 60…Came to 70 and I couldn’t give a monkeys so I went and had it done. Love it!! Had a tattoo done on my ankle a couple of year back I’m happy now
