Morning, new thread, other, has had a few replies.
Normal chit chat, talk about every day life, what you are doing for the day, bloods, scans app, though if a special topic, please start another thread..
Enjoy every day the best you can,
Hi Ellie. Weather is wet and horrible here how come our small island has such different weather!?!
love it when my son comes home and treats it like he owns all the food in the cupboards he’s arriving at the end of May after 9 months of van life across Northern Africa and Europe! He’s a great cook so I’m looking forward to time off and being treated to him cooking for me.
second day after chemo and not feeling too bad. The 5th day is when i collapse so making the most of it till then. Off to church…the kids are doing a drama
Glad you had a lovely dream ️ keep dreaming
love to all wherever you’re at ️

Hello lovely Ellie, great to hear that you had a good night’s sleep . It’s really nice to see that you and your son have a great bond ️. Enjoy your day and PS I love my own company too - they do say there is a difference between being alone and lonely. You take care xxxxxx.
Morning Ulls, I am sorry to hear about your wife’s distress - she sounds like me, quite hard on herself and probably feels (WRONGLY) it’s her fault. Definitely NOT! You sound a very understanding person, just like my lovely partner. Good to hear the night out was enjoyable with a good singer and company.
Hello Judy, glad to hear you are feeling not too bad today. I am hopefully re-starting my Capecitabine next Thursday and if it’s like the first cycle, yes I will feel very exhausted a few days in. It passes though! What an adventurous and interesting son you have - what an experience to travel in a van for many months and experiencing different sights and cultures. You have a great day xxxxxxxxxx.
Well I think and hope that I’ve replied to today’s messages (so far!). I didn’t have a good day yesterday - spent most of it sleeping and when I was awake, feeling a bit down and emotional. Just feeling that cancer is in charge at the moment - I like to be in the driving seat in every sense of the word (!) and like to make plans etc. Anyways, today IS a new day - I’ve showered , put washing out on the line and had a long phone conversation with my brother, who always makes me feel better ️. My partner of 15 years IS amazing but he needs his space too and can’t solve everything. About to have lunch then heading out to the shops to buy a new cover for our washing line (has to be done!) and hopefully purchase a new iPad as my ancient one is really playing up. Partner wants us to fully research first - have done a bit but I am not v patient! Big hugs to all xxxxxxxxxxx.
