Ellie mentioned on the lovely morning thread, that she'd once won a Teasmade in a competition.
Remember them?
Thought we could start a trip down memory lane about all those things that were around, but aren't now.
Or maybe they are, and we thought they'd gone forever, but they've been re-invented with a new name.
What do you remember that's gone? What do you miss?
I certainly remember the teasmade. My Mum had one, but after a while, my Dad proved to be more reliable.
Keep em'coming.

I used to be terrified of my mums pressure cooker, but we have recently bought a ninja which is a combined pressure cooker, air fryer and mini oven. I'm not sure why it's called a ninja though as it's very noisy to operate!
I remember our first telephone, it was cream and eventually we had a little table and seat in the hall so that you could sit down whilst you were on the phone. I also remember learning a trick to be able to use some public call boxes without coins. Very naughty.

I remember Radio Rentals. We had a B&W set from them and later a TV and video recorder. One day the video stopped working, so we called them out. The first thing the man said was 'Have you got a cat?'. We did. Apparently it was something he kept coming across: the cats went to sleep on the warm video machine and knocked the wires out the back. Oh dear.
