  • Fantastic….many many more annual check ins I trust

  • that's ok Morton, i will let you of, do not make it a habit, of hurting yourself, LOL have enough worry in my life, with some one cutting them  selves, He He LOL

  • Good afternoon everyone, to day I having a bad day, just in pain to be honest, the rest not to bad.

Got a phone call this morning form oncology, my appointment on Monday change from normal check up to a MDT meeting, face to face with Oncologist, consulting nurse, pharmisist, was told that last bone scans showed a loss in bone density, but all problems arising from treatment to be discussed.

On the good side my PSA is still low at 0.095, more medication on the I suppose, but they are more interested in my bones at the moment.

  • Hi Ulls so sorry to hear your having a bad day, and constant pain is awful. Well as for your appointment change maybe they can come up with something to help with the pain your experiencing.  But the good thing you PSA is still low. Sending hugs xx

    Moi

  • Ulls, you are taking after me, the only good thing for me, i do not weight so much, as bones are not so heavy, so thats why i eat more custard tarts and chocolate. xx

  • Good news about your PSA.  Sorry to hear about your pain and bone issues.  Do you take a weekly tablet for bones ?  I hope the meeting goes well take care

  • Hi Morton68, until today I thought I was ok I eat enough calcium foods, so it was a surprise to find out my bones were thining, I don't take anything at the moment but that will change after the meeting on Monday.

  • I take one wee tablet a week for that, just on a Sunday morning.  Hopefully something like that will be all you need.  I think bone thinning is probably inevitable no matter what we do! A wee dram helps I hear ;)

  • I take them as well same day every weekd

  • All part of different treatments
