Hi Morton, on my first or second MRI scan it lasted a long time and I had no idea when it was going to finish so every time now I ask how long it will take. Never again do I want to lie there not knowing when it is going to finish.

Hi Morton, I know it is a bit late for todays scan but next time you are going for an MRI (not CT) take one of your own CDs along and ask them to play it through the headphones. My MRI scans can take over 60 minutes or more, so to the scanning suite I take Will Young and Lionel Ritchie with me for company!! Aren't I the lucky one!! I'm not keen on ABBA either. If you forget to take a CD you can ask them to play the type of Genre you like!
