  • Hi Morton, Yes it made me feel good all day yesterday but last night I was back to usual as I missed out the thing I had the night before. I put my iPad away about 3ish, so I must just have missed your post. Yes you are right, steroids can keep you awake and usually do!

  • Good morning Annette, you're quite right about the Scottish lochs. Mrs Tvman and I have visited Norwegians fjords which are stunning and have a history behind them.

In Scotland, loch Lomond is beautiful, probably best seen by cruising on the loch. Loch Ness too is wonderful and it would have been better if we had seen Nessie!

A few years ago we escaped from the children for a weekend in MacDonald Forest Hills hotel in the highland. We travelled across Scotland from Stranraer and into the Highlands. The rain was relentless, it was around about Halloween. We reached the hotel which exuded Scottishness. In the morning at breakfast we sat in the dining room facing the wooded mountain opposite at the base of which is Loch Ard. Due to the heavy rain the previous night there was a lot of water vapour and many little mists everywhere. We watched breathless as mist after mist rolled down the mountainside and travelled across the loch. We'll never forget that scene and I'm determined to go back.

    Take care Annette

    Tvman xx

Ps sorry everyone for the long post but I can't write 10 words when 100 will do!
