Here by special request, the latest in the Lovely Morning series.

  • Hi Ellie, it’s been miserable for a lot of the day.  Despite my ideas I gave the pub a miss and had a healthy day! Feel better for it and it’s been ok, I hope yours has been good despite the rain

    M

  • Yes not bad, kept busy, for a few hours, A healthy day like that, save the shandy for another time,x

  • Jumping on to the medicines story. . . .  my sister is on a lot of meds and my BiL was saying how they only like to prescribe 2 weeks at a time.  They live in rural Cumbria and it's a 30 min drive to collect.  He's finding he's making weekly trips to pick up a few packets of meds each time, instead of say a monthly trip to get a bulk supply.  I think he needs to take them aside and have a chat and appeal for a pragmatic approach.

  • Hi Mmum, both my wife and I have a large prescriptions, and we get ours on an 8 week cycle can't see why your sister, meds are only 2 weekly, I think you're right about asking for 4 weekly, complained about cost of fuel, cold weather and bad driving conditions.

  • Good morning  all, when I was working my lovely doctor had to put me on more meds, he said "I'll put you on a 2 monthly  perscription as its getting  quit expensive. I'm  still every 2 months. Alas  he's retired and the new one's are lacking.  xx

    Moi

  • Morning Moi and Every One else, after yesterday, it is lovely and bright not to last long.

Not sure what to do to day. some thing to pop in to my brain  i am sure,xx

  • 2 cups of coffee and sumthing yummy for breakfast, and contemplate before work

  • Just on my fourth cup of tea, showered so ready for the day lol. Something yummy for breakfast, a chocolate bar lol

  • Morning all.  You won’t be surprised to hear it is raining here in the West of Scotland! Hope you all have a good day. I forgot in other parts of the UK people pay for prescriptions, ours are free at source but of course are paid for in other ways.  I am away to look for a good book (crime or tense thriller), any recommendations greatfully received.

  • Morning, how lovely west of Scotland, will get my thinking cap on for books, my hubby was crime and thriller, read two boos a week, three when he was away working.

    xx
