Dear ellie and Monica, the Duke of Edinburgh wasn't Greek. He was German. But that was all airbrushed out. His family were I believe 'Parachuted in' to the Greek monarchy and later removed by a coup of sorts. I think Philips lot were Hapsburgs. I stand to be corrected on the details.
