Happy to be invited anywhere, it's not been easy having a strange name but having cancer is worse so thanks to all my new friends.

  • Any questions you can allays ask here and some one will help you if they can.

  • We have become friends as know what the other may be going threw. Its a special club, though sorry i have to say that.

  • I know what you mean, I have got the tv on as well. Keep going out of lounge to do a bit more and then go back again so that I don’t miss too much. I am washing the lounge curtains since it’s a nice day and I am hoping they dry outside, and then of course I will have to iron them so will have more back ache later!

I doubt if in my lifetime I will ever see another king come to the throne, so really don’t want to miss it. Shall set the funeral to record as otherwise I won’t get to see it, all being well.

    love and hugs

  • This is true Monica Monica, as Ellie says. There is always help to be had on here, and usually some lighthearted banter. You are very welcome to join our group!

  • Same here Maggie, thought the signing in of a new king was very interesting, very historic,

We know how to do things when it comes like this So washing went out, then watched what was going on in London.

Hope the curtains dry, my washing is blowing lol

I am watching what is going on with interest as the Duke of Edinburgh and I shared the same background ... Greece.

( me via St Thomas's London though)

  • Think every one is watching something regarding it, though some are not interested.

Will not see it in our life time again. I was forgetting Duke of Edinburgh was Greek, and i am sure their was Wedgewood in his Home.

  • I have been watching the telly on and  off since Thursday, its history being made cos as you say we won't see it again in our life time and it hasn't  happened for 70 years. I met the Queen in Celle Germany in the 80s. She was beautiful, God I'm crying again.  XX
