Morning everyone. Woke up to the sun shining in the bedroom window, got up had breakfast,  banana on toast and just on my second coffee.  My positivity is back (thank god). Going to have a shower dress and go for a walk through the woods and show my husband were I use to play as a kid as our move has taken me back to my roots. Have a good day all XX

  • Hi Annette, yes it is hot down here, today we went to a shopping retail park and when we came out it was like walking into a giant hot air dryer!

Grandchildren are great thanks, young Lucy goes to a nursery 4 days a week so we'll see much more of her over the next 3 days. Harry has been our constant companion but on Monday he starts an activity week somewhere. He's a handful sometimes, sometimes he's so cute and lovable.

I'm so glad you are posting, you need to tell that laptop you are boss. I think you and I have the same type of mobility scooter so you may be interested in the vehicle that parked beside me and the man had a hoist that lifted his small mobility scooter out of his motability car in one piece, a Nissan  Qashqui. It's free if you get it fitted with your new motability car but costs £195 if you decide to get it fitted during the 3 years. Not sure if you have a motability car though!

    Keep posting Annette xx

    Love life and family.
    • Yes i have a lot of pain believe it or not, i had a heart  attack. now osteoporosis cannot sleep on back or side .
    • I just  get on with it, The got diagnosed with cancer hey ho.
  • Pain is a wonderful thing, it lets you know your alive, I turn like a chicken on a spit all night, I snooze, until my friendly pain says enough sleeping for now, try again.

  • LOL at least you know your still alive. yes your right.

How is your friend, i did message you to say Annette   could not post but could read the thread.

Funny how we all have some thing going on with us, suppose that is why we are here.

    How you friend today.

  • He looks a right mess, but he feels a lot better than he has for age's, normally has problems breathing, ok now,.

  • A few posts back, Annette managed to get a post through.

  • LOL Now that's not nice, mind you i looked a right mess yesterday doing the ironing.

Though if he is feeling better that is good, shows you something was just waiting to happen, He is in the best place and when he gets home will improve all the more.

  • I hope he gets home soon with nursing support, their flat is unbelievably hot, when we were not in hospital we we're sitting beside an old church in the shade

  • Its early days, one day at a time, as we have learnt,

You have a day of tomorrow, so can relax a little, with your family.

  • Wishing him all the best. No place like home, we all recognise that.
