Morning everyone. Woke up to the sun shining in the bedroom window, got up had breakfast, banana on toast and just on my second coffee. My positivity is back (thank god). Going to have a shower dress and go for a walk through the woods and show my husband were I use to play as a kid as our move has taken me back to my roots. Have a good day all XX
Our neighbour who we have been keeping an eye on as she had a replacement hip, managed a short break abroad and came back yesterday.
She popped over to see us some hours ago. We produced some nibbles but I need a dinner. A bit pissed as well!
So a good half a day as well.
Thats all.
LOL Well your half a day and mine make one full one not bad, go and get fed,
Hi, I take it your neighbour overstayed her welcome then AA while poor you was hungry, shame.
Ellie I had a lovely afternoon with our two granddaughters while our daughter and her husband went furniture shopping! We played some games indoors and then when the sun came out late afternoon, they planted some bulbs and seeds. They just love doing the garden. Their mum & dad don't garden at all, they just have lawns front and back, so they enjoy seeing what they plant here growing.
Tonight, I'm exhausted and my joints are sore but I'm happy!

Rameses, did you know a lot of the old children's programmes are being repeated on the channel called Great TV? What they really mean is OLD TV. Do you remember Space 1999, Lady Penelope, The Saint, The Sweeney etc. There is also a Great Films channel too which are old films, some were actually made before I was born!!! It is worth a look and will give you a laugh I'm sure!
Yes those were the innocent days when children didn't have to play in their garden and no one locked their door!

Ellie, Yes it was worth having sore joints for. The thing is, I didn't actually DO any gardening! I was mainly supervising, making sure the bulbs were put in the right way up etc., so I hadn't expected to feel that bad later in the evening. I still can't find anyone to help with the gardening, as I said, all they want to do is cut the grass or cut hedges and I don't have any hedges! Oh well, it will be snowing soon and my garden will look amazing! Lol!

Hi Annette, it's a pity you are Ellie don't live near me I love gardening, my garden is not that big, no grass just flowers and flowering shrubs, I would like an allotment but a 2year waiting list.
When I was a child the garden was large, grass both sides, headges all round,, front was all flowers, the back was fruit and vegetables.
Mum was a professional cook everything home made, she made sure that all of us could cook and bake.
