Thought i would watch some of Glastonbury, well not sure what to say, not my cup of tea, but i am no youngster.
To me just a bloody racket, but each to their own,
Bring back the good old days, regarding music, and decent songs that, last for ever.

I thought it was you that had previously mentioned the radio programme that I totally loathed: Sing Something Simple. A lesson in how to ruin every song ever written - just get that lot to sing it. I think they were the same people who were in the Black & White Minstrel Show - something else I had to endure when young. Oh, and the truely awful Billy Cotton Band Show.
Did you see the Paul Whitehouse & Harry Enfield send up SSS? Priceless. Rainie x
I remember a band called Crowded House, but have completely forgotten what they did and what bits I might have heard & liked. What are their most famous song? I might remember some.
I heard Elbow a few times and the guy does have a voice, but, sorry, what he sang bored me rigid. Can't remember any bit of it. Rainie x
Like I said, there was some rubbish around when we were young too. Excruciating stuff, the boredom of sunday evenings comes rushing back.
Yes crowded house were good. And of course Elbow's One Day is an anthem now.
I'm glad your face to face was positive OBS, and it's always good to get a name right, my husband is really good at that. I'm not so great.
